Lady Wildcats hit Road for First Time on Young Season

NEW ORLEANS, La. – After winning three straight home games to open the season, the Bethel Lady Wildcats hit the road for the first time Friday traveling to New Orleans.

Bethel will meet the Dillard University Bleu Devils. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.

Dillard is 3-2 coming off a recent road loss at William Carey.

The Lady Cats are coming off a season high 97 points, beating Welch College 97-55.

Two newcomers lead Bethel. Alyia Lee is averaging 16.7 points and 13 rebounds per game. She had three double-doubles in Bethel's three games. Madison Hart is averaging 20.0 points and four rebounds per outing.

The Wildcats are averaging 80.0 points per game and yielding 59 points per contest. The Cats are off to a hot start from the field shooting 47.6 percent from the floor. Bethel is out rebounding their opponents 34-23.
