Chamber of Commerce Classic Game Notes
The Bethel Lady Wildcats will host the Annual Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Classic Friday and Saturday in Crisp Arena.
The (RV) Lady Cats will meet Brescia Friday at 7 p.m. Bethel is 11-0 all-time versus the Bearcats. Prior to that game, No. 4 Campbellsville and University of Health and Sciences & Pharmacy will play at 5 p.m.
Bethel will close out the event Saturday at 3 p.m. versus UHSP. Campbellsville and Brescia will play at 1 p.m.
It will be the season opener for the Lady Wildcats. They lost 71-36 to Murray State Tuesday night in exhibition action. Raegan Blackburn led Bethel with 15 points in the loss. The Lady Wildcats won 21 games last season and made it to the NAIA Round of 16.
It will be the season opener for Campbellsville. The Tigers won 31 games last year and made it to the NAIA Round of 16. Campbellsville is the defending MSC Champions.
Brescia is 0-2 on the season. They are coming off a 93-56 loss to Lindsey Wilson.
UHSP is 1-0 after beating Kansas Wesleyan 95-70.
Tickets will be available at the door and be handled by the Chamber of Commerce staff.
Due to Bethel football, there will be no local radio coverage for the games.
