Bethel Action Shooting Team Shines at Cornhusker Classic
LOUISVILLE, NE – The Bethel Action Shooting Team showcased outstanding performances last weekend, September 20-21, at the prestigious Cornhusker Classic, marking their first major Steel Challenge Match.
The event, held in Louisville, Nebraska, saw fierce competition, but the Bethel team secured impressive placements across multiple categories.
Kaleb Klein demonstrated exceptional consistency, securing second place in six competitive divisions: RFPI, RFPO, ISR, OSR, RFRI, and RFRO. His remarkable performance highlighted his versatility and precision across different firearm disciplines.
Brice Jones also stood out, securing 5th place in RFPI, and achieving 3rd place in RFPO, RFRI, RFRO, and PCCO. His strong showing in both rimfire and pistol caliber carbine divisions demonstrated his adaptability and skill.
Olivia Albertson dominated the field among junior competitors, earning the title of 1st Junior Lady Overall. She also claimed 1st place in the Open division, along with notable placements including 5th in RFPO, 7th in RFPI, 44th in RFRO, 10th in PCC, and 16th in CO. Additionally, Olivia secured 3rd place in the PCC Master class, underscoring her exceptional talent.
Alyson Battreall displayed commendable effort, finishing 4th in RFPI in ladies' division, 4th in RFPO ladies, 15th in RFRI, and 21st in RFRO, contributing significantly to the team's overall success.
The Bethel Action Shooting Team's next challenge awaits at the Ohio Steel Classic in Marengo, Ohio. Their strong performance at the Cornhusker Classic sets a promising precedent as they prepare to compete against top shooters in the upcoming event.
