Coach John Weeks is in his sixth season as the head coach of the Lady Wildcats in 2022-23.

Since taking the helm at Bethel in December 2017, many changes have taken place. Coach Weeks has had eight SSAC All -Conference selections, nineteen SSAC All- Academic Conference selections, two SSAC All- Freshman Team members, a SSAC Gold Glove selection, a SSAC All -Tournament selection, an NAIA All American selection and an NFCA All American selection.

Three seasons ago, his team achieved the NAIA Scholar team status with a team GPA of 3.427. His 17 conference wins in 2018-2019 were the most conference wins ever for Bethel University in the SSAC, and the most conference wins in a single season for Bethel University since 2006. In the 2018-2019 season his team compiled 89 stolen bases to set a school single season record. His team recorded the second lowest batting strike out number at 162 in 50 games since 2006. His squad led the SSAC in home runs with 22.

Prior to becoming a head coach, Coach Weeks served six years in the U.S. Army. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Middle Tennessee State University. He has also taught school in Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Jackson, Tennessee.
