Mid-South Conference Softball Tournament Begins on Wednesday
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The 2026 Mid-South Conference Softball Tournament begins on Wednesday at Marilyn D. Sparks Park at the Lindsey Wilson Sports Park.
The tournament begins on Wednesday with an elimination game, featuring No. 6-seed Cumberland (Tenn.) and No. 7-seed Bethel (Tenn.). First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.
The winner advances into the six-team double-elimination tournament, which starts on Thursday with four games.
All tournament games will be free to watch on the Mid-South Conference Network hosted by the Urban Edge Network.
Tickets are available for purchase through the Mid-South Conference website. Day passes are $12 per person for all days except Wednesday. Due to a single game, a ticket can be purchased for $6.
Pets and/or emotional support animals are not allowed in the spectator areas or sports park. Only service animals are permitted.
Cumberland (17-23) won two out of three games over Bethel (12-32) during the regular season. The Cumberland-Bethel winner advances to play third-seeded Campbellsville (Ky.) (28-15) at 1:30 p.m. CT on Thursday.
Thursday begins with No. 4-seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) (20-19) playing No. 5-seed Georgetown (Ky.) (17-20) at 11 a.m. CT. Freed-Hardeman won all three games last weekend in Georgetown.
Top-seeded Lindsey Wilson (38-6, 14-4) and No. 2-seed Cumberlands (Ky.) (34-16, 12-6) earn byes into the winner's bracket semifinals.
Lindsey Wilson meets Freed-Hardeman and Georgetown winner at 4 p.m. CT, while Cumberlands faces the team that emerges from Campbellsville, Cumberland, and Bethel at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The championship game is slated for 3:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, with the if-necessary championship game at noon CT on Sunday.
The tournament winner earns the Mid-South Conference's automatic bid into the NAIA National Tournament next month.
