Bethel’s Lauren Reimsnyder to Play in Europe

MCKENZIE, Tenn. –Bethel's Lauren Reimsnyder has been selected to play softball in Europe this summer for Team Mizuno USA.

Lauren will be playing against multiple teams in different cities over 10 days across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany while also taking in the sights, learning about their culture, and meeting new friends along the way.

Lauren, who graduated on Saturday, appeared in 77 games as a Lady Wildcat. She won 19 games during her career.

 Lauren commented, "Thanks to Coach Dave Majeski for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime. It's a huge honor to be given the chance to play internationally and I'm really looking forward to being able to represent both the USA and Bethel University."

Bethel Interim Athletic Director and Director of Sports Information Dave McCulley commented. "Lauren epitomizes the meaning of being a student-athlete. She had an excellent career on the field and excelled in the classroom. I have always appreciated her demeanor and personality. We are happy for her and proud she will represent Bethel University."
