Bethel’s Miranda Carnell Named 2024 NAIA National Softball Player of the Week

 KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Bethel University's Miranda Carnell has been named the NAIA National Softball Player of the Week. Carnell was selected based on her performances from April 1-7 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Softball Player of the Week

Miranda Carnell, Bethel (Tenn.) - SO - INF

• Carnell posted a big week at the plate for Bethel (Tenn.) over six games.
• In 24 plate appearances, she tallied 12 runs, five doubles, and three home runs: combining for 14 hits.
• Drove in 19 runs while putting together a .583 batting average, .593 OBP, and a 1.167 slugging percentage.
