Lady Wildcats Split DH with Lindsey Wilson in Columbia
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats split their MSC doubleheader with Lindsey Wilson Friday afternoon in Columbia.
LWC won game one 9-0 while Bethel took game two 9-6.
In game one, Lindsey Wilson's Kayden Murray fired a five inning no hitter. She struck out nine of the 15 Lady Wildcats she faced in the game. The Blue Raiders scored three runs in the first, four tallies in the fourth and two runs in the fifth. LWC had seven hits in the game. The Cats committed five errors in the game.
The second game was a totally different affair. Bethel led 6-3 after three innings. LWC tied the game at 6-6 after five frames. A two run RBI single by Kennedy Gillespie highlighted a three run six inning that gave the Lady Cats a 9-6 margin and eventual victory. Bethel outhit the Raiders 13-8. Kinsley Caruthers picked up her sixth win of the year.
