Softball Scores 48 runs in DH Win over Harris-Stowe

ST. LOUIS, MO- Bethel jumped back into action Tuesday in St. Louis at Harris Stowe. The teams played a non-conference doubleheader. It was the first of eight straight road games for the Lady Cats.

Bethel snapped a four-game losing streak with huge victories in both games.

Bethel won game one 34-0. Bethel had 34 hits and scored in all five innings of the game. The victory is the largest in Bethel softball history.

Lauren Reimsnyder and Kaylie McKinley teamed up for the four-hit shutout.

The Cats won game two14-0. Bethel rapped out 21 hits and salted the game away with an eight run seventh inning. Kinsley Caruthers fired a three hitter.

Bethel improved to 9-17 and 3-7 on the road this year.

The Hornets fell to 0-27 on the season and 0-14 in home games.

Bethel travels to Lindsey Wilson this weekend. The teams will play a doubleheader on Friday at 3 p.m. and a twin bill Saturday at 11 a.m.
