Bethel’s Alexis Wheeler Named to MSC Softball Champions of Character Team

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The 2023 Mid-South Conference Softball Champions of Character Team has been released, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.

Bethel's (Tenn.) Alexis Wheeler, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Addie Young, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Allyson Shoulders, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Maddie Sickau, Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Gracie Wilson, Georgetown's (Ky.) Brooke Chick, Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Alexis Garayzar, Pikeville's (Ky.) Zoe Ingram, Shawnee State's (Ohio) Rebekah Badgett, Tennessee Southern's Carlie Pendley and Thomas More's (Ky.) Sarah Caruso were all honored with the recognition.
