Maddie Locke & Emma Johnson Invited to Play in Italian Softball Series

MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The Rovigo Softball Club has selected USA Athletes International as the sponsoring organization to represent the United States in the 2023 Italian Softball Series in Italy. Bethel's Maddie Locke and Emma Johnson have been invited to participate on the USA Athletes International Softball team.

The competition will be held July 15–24, 2023 in Northern Italy in Rovigo, Padua, and Verona. This is an opportunity to play against some of the best athletes in Europe.

This event is an excellent opportunity for athletes to foster international goodwill and friendship among nations; as well as learn more about the world we live in and the positive impact we can make. 

As USA Athletes International Softball team members, these Bethel players are requesting you show your support to help make this opportunity possible for them and all members involved in this program. Any donations would be greatly appreciated! 

Team members are responsible for raising or paying $4,658 to cover their share of the team's expenses.
