"I am proud of the men's team for trusting their training and peaking at the right time of the season. It's not always easy to gradually get better every race and peak at the right time — it's what every team strives for but does not always succeed at. Wildcats are well on the way to achieving it. I'm glad their times are starting to show their true potential, and I am excited to see what they will achieve next at conference."

Women's Team

The Lady Wildcats also had a strong showing, highlighted by several season and personal bests.

  • Monserratt Serrano led the team with a season best of 19:17, placing 47th out of 187 competitors.
  • Shelci Caballero ran a personal best of 21:26, finishing 131st overall.
  • Sharon Cherop clocked a personal best of 24:51, earning 171st place.

Coach Bradshaw commended the women's team for their steady progress, saying:

"I am proud of the Lady Wildcats' consistent improvements from race to race. They are on pace to peak at the right time for the season, which is always the goal. They continue to improve and impress, and I look forward to seeing what they will achieve at conference."
