Bethel Men’s Cross-Country Finishes Second at Panther Prowl Classic

OWENSBORO, Ky.– The Bethel University Men's Cross-Country team delivered an impressive performance Friday evening, finishing second overall at the Panther Prowl Cross Country Classic held at Yellow Creek Park.

With an average team time of 20:25, the Wildcats compiled 73 points, placing only Division I Evansville (26 points) and ahead of Lindsey Wilson (90) and Midway (92).

The Wildcats delivered a dominant performance with all runners achieving personal records in the 6k race.

  • Cedrion Cook led the charge, setting a new school record with a time of 19:21, earning 4th place overall.
  • Hudson Wallace followed close behind, finishing 10th overall with a PR of 19:38.
  • Hayden Padgett claimed 13th place with a PR of 20:28.
  • San'Darius Coleman posted a PR of 20:51, finishing 22nd overall.
  • Dennis Kipkemboi clocked a PR of 21:46, placing 28th overall.
  • Jacob McKinney rounded out the team with a PR of 23:12, finishing 45th overall.

Coach Wes Bradshaw shared his enthusiasm about the team's performance:

"It's always a good weekend when a school record is achieved and several personal records are broken. I am very proud of the men's team—they've worked hard over the summer and since returning to campus, and it shows. I'm excited to see what they'll accomplish this season."
