Cats & Tigers End in Draw Wednesday in Campbellsville
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The No. 16 Bethel Wildcats faced the Campbellsville Tigers Wednesday in Campbellsville.
The two MSC teams saw the match end in a 2-2 draw.
A first period goal by Horace Avila Jr. gave Bethel a 1-nil margin. Stanley Isaac was credited with the assist. The Tigers followed with two goals to take a 2-1 lead at the break.
Avila struck again at the 58:49 mark to tie the match.
Bethel outshot the Tigers 19-7 and had a 6-3 margin in shots on goal.
The Wildcats are 7-4-4 overall and 2-2-1in the Mid-South Conference.
The Tigers are 10-4-3 and 3-1-1.
The Cats close out their regular season Tuesday hosting Freed-Hardeman at 7:30 p.m. It will be Senior Night for the Wildcats.
