Cats Take Top Twenty Match-up in Williamsburg
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - The No. 18 Bethel Wildcats traveled to the No. 9 University of the Cumberlands Thursday. The top twenty match-up lived up to its pregame billing with the Wildcats winning 1-nil.
The only goal of the match came when Bethel's Horace Avila Jr. scored at the 76:22 mark.
The Pats outshot the Wildcats 13-9. Both squads finished with three shots on goal.
Bethel's Diego Camargo had three big saves for The Wildcats.
The Wildcats moved to 7-1-3 overall and 2-0 in the MSC.
The Pats dropped to 7-1-1 and 0-1 in the league.
Bethel evened the series at 4-4-1.
The Wildcats return home to face Georgetown Thursday at 8 p.m.
