Cats Ranked 12th in Soccer Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Missouri Valley took all 18 first-place votes in the first regular-season edition of the 2021 NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Despite going 1-0 on the week, The Bethel Wildcats dropped to No. 12 in the poll.
The Wildcats will host the Bucs of Christian Brothers University Thursday night in Wildcat Stadium. Action begins at 7 p.m.
Both teams enter the fray at 2-0 on the young season. It will be the fourth meeting between the two programs with CBU holding a 2-1 advantage in the series.
The Wildcats own early season victories over LSU-Shreveport (4-1) and Hannibal LaGrange (2-0)
Alphonso Gooden leads the Wildcats with two goals and one assist. Pascal Mohungsi leads the squad with three assists. Norberto Lima Vieira has recorded eight saves in the two games.
Tickets are not required but fans are urged to wear masks and follow social distancing methods.
