Bio

Clay Boyd enters his 15th season at the helm of the Wildcat bowling program in 2024-25.

Boyd began his coaching career at Bethel in 2009 as the school's first bowling coach. He used his initial year as coach to recruit team members. Boyd was named the 2012-13 Bethel Club Sport Coach of the Year and the 2013-14 Mid-South Conference Co-Coach of the Year.

Coach Boyd bowled collegiately at the University of Pikeville during the 2002-03 season. That season, Boyd's team competed for a championship at the USBC national tournament.

Boyd graduated in 2007 from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in wellness and leisure services. Boyd and his wife Kristin have a daughter Kayleigh and a son Cason.
