Cats & Tigers Set to Clash Thursday in Crisp Arena

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Wildcats and the Campbellsville Tigers are set to clash Thursday night in McKenzie. Tip-off is scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m.

 Bethel is 9-4 at home this season and 166-63 in the building which opened in 2012.

There will also be a cash gate available.

All passes must be approved by the Bethel University Sports Office 24 hours in advance of the event. No exceptions.

The Wildcats are 16-9 overall and 2-7 in the MSC. The Cats have dropped six straight games. Bethel beat the Tigers 78-75 back on January 15 in Campbellsville.

Chauncey Hughes III leads the Wildcats in scoring averaging 15.7 points per game. D J Starr averages 12.0 points per outing while Ethan Turner averages 10.0 per contest.

The Wildcats average 78.5 points and yield 76.6 per outing.

Coach Jeff Britt is in his 26th year as the head coach of the Wildcats 37th overall and has a 553-387 career mark.

It will be the 16th meeting with Campbellsville holding an 8-7 advantage in the series. Bethel holds a 4-1 margin in games played in McKenzie.

The Tigers are 18-6 and 3-5. The Tigers are 2-2 I road action this year.

Campbellsville averages 75.3 and yields 69.3 points per outing. Dalton Kramer is the leading scorer for the Tigers at 14.6 points per game. Marcellus Vail averages 10.0 per game.

Brent Vernon is in his 10th year with the Tiers and is 143-130.
