Wildcats Host Mighty Oaks

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Wildcats will host the Oakland City Might Oaks Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. in Crisp Arena.

The Cats have won seven in a row and are 8-1 on the year. The Mighty Oaks are 3-4.

 Bethel is 3-1 at home while the Oaks are 0-3 on the road.

Bethel averages 85.7 points per game while yielding 73.6 points per game.

The Cats shoot 44 percent form the field and 36 percent from behind the arc. The Wildcats shoot 63 percent from the free throw line and outrebound their opponents 44-34 per outing.   

Chauncey Hughes III leads the Cats in scoring, averaging 16.3 points per game. Hughes shoots 45 percent form three-point land and has hit 23 treys on the season. D J Starr follows averaging 11.2 points per outing. Brayden Nunnally is good for 11.1 points per contest. Joe Wilberly has a team leading 27 assists this year. Ethan Turner averages a team high five rebounds per game.

Oakland City averages 81.1 points per game while yielding 78.0 per outing. The Oaks shoot 46 percent from the field. They shoot 34 percent from behind the arc and 61 percent from the foul line.  

Dior Davis leads is one of four Oaks who average in double figures. He averages 20.3 per game.
