Cats Salute Seniors in Regular Season Finale Saturday
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Wildcats have a quick turnaround as they host No. 19 Cumberlands (KY) Saturday in Crisp Arena. Tip-off on Senior Day is at 3 p.m. with ceremonies taking place just before the action begins.
The Wildcats will salute Conor Guthrie, Tyler Neely, Kendan Maddox, Akeyse Rice, and Brennon Marsh.
The Cats lost a hard fought 71-65 battle to No. 2 Georgetown Thursday night in McKenzie.
The Cats are 16-10 overall and 4-7 in the Mid-South Conference. Bethel is 158-58 all-time in Crisp Arena which opened in 2012. The Cats are 12-4 at home this season.
The Pats are 20-7 overall and 9-2 in the league. Cumberlands is coming off an 86-75 impressive victory at Freed-Hardeman Thursday night in Henderson.
UC beat the Wildcats 80-63 in Williamsburg back in January.
It will be the ninth meeting between the two programs. The Pats hold a 7-1 advantage in the series.
