Murray State Races by Wildcats in Exhibition

MURRAY, Ky. – The Bethel Wildcats unofficially opened the 24-25 campaign Monday in Murray, Kentucky taking on the Murray State Racers in an exhibition in the CFSB Center.

The Racers galloped by the Wildcats winning 113-37.

MSU went on a late first half scoring binge to lead 54-19 at the half.

 Murray State had a 59-18 margin in the second half.

The Racers shot 61 percent while Bethel managed just 25 percent from the floor.

MSU outrebounded Bethel 45-28.

To add tp their struggles, Bethel committed 31 turnovers in the game.  

The Racers hit 14 of 25 three pointers while the Wildcats hit just one trey on the night.

Five Racers finished in double digits.

 Brennon Marsh led Bethel with six points.

Bethel officially opens their season Tuesday night hosting Harris-Stowe at 7 p.m.
