Cats Drop Third in a Row with Loss at Missouri Baptist
ST. LOUIS, Mo. -The Bethel Wildcats lost their third straight with an 97-62 loss at Missouri Baptist Saturday.
The Spartans led 43-28 at the half and pulled away in the second half to claim the victory. Missouri Baptist is 7-2 and has won seven straight games. The Wildcats dropped to 6-5.
Bethel shot 37 percent from the floor and was 0-for-10 from behind the three-point line.
The Spartans shot 58 percent from the floor and hit eleven three-pointers. Missouri Baptist had a 37-31 rebound advantage.
Querrion Gadson led the Wildcats with 17 points. Breven McMullen had 33 points for MBU.
The Wildcats remain in St. Louis and play UHSP Monday at 7 p.m.
