Cats & Bears Tangle Saturday in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, OH- The Wildcats travel to Portsmouth, Ohio Saturday to meet Shawnee State. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. The Cats beat SSU 66-63 in McKenzie in mid-November. The series between the two is tied at 3-3.

The Wildcats extended their winning streak to four with an 86-76 win at Pikeville Thursday night.

Bethel moved to 12-8 overall and 8-6 in the Mid-South Conference.

The (RV) Bears upset No. 8 Freed-Hardeman Thursday 76-66 in Portsmouth.

SSU has won eight  of their last nine games and is 13-7 and 9-5.
