Basketball Cats Sign Vol State Standout

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Bethel University Men's basketball program signed Murfreesboro, Tennessee native Brennon Marsh recently. Brennon is the son of Guerry and Tammy Marsh of Murfreesboro and will major in Biology.

Before spending two seasons at Volunteer State Community College, Marsh was a four-year starter at Siegel High School. Along with being an all-district performer he had a four-year perfect attendance record at SHS.

 Brennon averaged eight points, ten rebounds and one assist at Vol State. Along with being a second team all-conference performer he was named an Academic All-American.

Marsh, a 6'8 forward feels his biggest strengths are his rebounding skills and his competitiveness.

Coach Jeff Britt commented on the signing. "We are pleased Brennon has decided to continue his career as a student-athlete with us here at Bethel. He brings a good presence with skill to our frontcourt. He excels in the classroom, and we look forward to him joining us this fall."
