Cats & Bears Set for 2 p.m. Tip-off Saturday in Crisp
MCKENZIE, Tenn. –The Bethel Wildcats and the Shawnee State Bears are set to tip-off Saturday at 2 p.m. in Crisp Arena. The game was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. CST but officials moved the game due to the wintry weather forecast for much of the Mid-South expected to occur later in the day.
The game will be the second of four straight home games for the Wildcats.
After losing to No. 10 Thomas More Thursday, the Wildcats are 10-7 overall and 2-7 in the MSC. The Cats have lost four of their last five.
The Bears are 8-7 and 2-6. SSU lost to Freed-Hardeman Thursday in Henderson.
The Bears 3-4 in road action while Bethel is 5-3 at home on the year. Bethel is 114-37 all-time in Crisp Arena.
The Wildcats are averaging 75.7 points per outing. They yield 69.0.
Jon Brown leads Bethel in scoring at 11.2 points per game. Kamron Rose follows at 11.1 per game. Drew Thomas pops in 10.7 while Jamarius Mayberry is at 10.6 points per outing.
