Blackmon High Standout Signs with Wildcats

MURFRESSBORO, Tenn. – Coach Jeff Britt and his staff have experienced success in years past signing mid-state players from the Volunteer State. That trend continued as the Wildcats signed Murfreesboro Blackmon standout Jarrell Reeves recently. He is the son of Ron and Kecia Reeves of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and will major as a Physician's Assistant.

He was named as an all-district performer during his prep career.

He averaged 7.5 points and collected four rebounds per game. He shot 57 percent from the floor. He was a part of several state tournament appearances by Blackmon.

He feels his strengths are his shot blocking ability and attitude. He averaged two blocks per game at Blackmon. He feels his team play is a big part of his game. Heplayed for Coach Barry Wortman at BHS.

Bethel Coach Jeff Britt said, "We are excited to have Jarrell join our basketball family and university. I look forward to working with him and watching him develop on and off the court."
