Mid-South Conference Announces Football Academic Awards

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Two hundred and seventeen Mid-South Conference football student-athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors, conference officials announced on Monday.

Twenty nine Bethel Wildcats excelled in the classroom and on the gridiron.

To be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and be in their third term or fourth quarter.

Georgetown (Ky.) led the Mid-South Conference with 47 honorees, followed by Cumberland (Tenn.) with 42 and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) with 36.
