MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The Bethel Wildcats delivered a strong performance in their home opener at Walter Butler Stadium, securing a 24-7 victory over Webber International (FL) on Saturday. The win was highlighted by an efficient offensive effort and a stifling defense that shut down the Warriors in the second half.
The game will be one Coach Chris Springer will always recall with fondness as it marked his first career victory as a head coach.
First Half: Back-and-Forth Battle

Webber International's offense could not find any traction in the final two quarters, with the Wildcats holding the Warriors to just 167 total yards and forcing them to punt six times.
