Bethel’s Brayden Johnson Named Football Special Team Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Georgetown College's Darius Neal (Offensive) and Justin Richardson (Defensive) as well as Bethel University's Brayden Johnson (Special Teams) are the Mid-South Conference Football Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Brayden Johnson – Bethel (Tenn.) – Jr. – Punter – Syracuse, Indiana 

  • Despite a tough loss, Johnson did his part averaging 45.7 yards in seven punts.
  • He had a 56 yard effort and pinned the Tigers six times inside their own 20-yard line.
  • The Junior has now earned this honor for the first time and is the second time Bethel has earned this honor.
