Mid-South Conference Announces 2026 Baseball Season Awards

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Mid-South Conference officials announced the 2026 All MSC Baseball teams and individual award winners on Tuesday.

Bethel's Adriel Vega was named to the second team while Zayden McCaslin was named to the Gold Glove squad.   

Cumberlands' (Ky.) Derrick Andiarena is the MSC Baseball Player of the Year, Cumberlands' Wesley Culley is the Pitcher of the Year, and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) Brennen Gibson is the MSC Freshman of the Year.

Mid-South Conference head coaches selected the individual awards and all-conference teams by vote. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Cumberlands' Brad Shelton is the MSC Head Coach of the Year, and Lindsey Wilson's Thorne Gray is the conference assistant coach of the year.

Eighteen baseball student-athletes earned first-team all-conference honors, and another 12 earned second-team honors. The MSC Gold Glove Team was also announced on Tuesday. The team is selected by the conference coaches based on fielding percentage and number of fielding chances during the season.

The Mid-South Conference Baseball Tournament begins on Tuesday, with the championship scheduled for Saturday at Bowling Green Ballpark.
