Bethel’s Walker Ward Named MSC Pitcher of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bethel University's Walker Ward University's Walker Ward has been named the Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

Walker Ward – Bethel (Tenn.) – Fr. – Bedford, Ind.

• Ward had a historic outing firing a no-hitter and allowing just one base runner against Waldorf. 
• He had five strikeouts and walked just one batter in Bethel's 1-0 win in 7 innings.
• Ward becomes the first Wildcat to earn this honor and is now the third from Bethel to earn a weekly honor.
