Cats Lose to CBU

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -The Bethel Wildcats, off to their best start since 2103 traveled to the Bluff City Tuesday to battle the CBU Bucs in a single game. It marked the first road game of the season for the Wildcats.

Bethel was outhit 9-7 by CBU. The Bucs scored in five different innings and beat the Wildcats 11-3. A six run third inning proved to be a huge key in the CBU victory.

Rivers Moffatt, Luis Aristud and Cade Pilkinton each drove in single runs for the Wildcats. The loss snapped a six- game winning streak by the Cats.

Wyatt McKee suffered the Bethel loss. The Cats dropped to 6-2 while Christian Brothers improved to 3-4.

The Cats return home for the Annual Civil War Series this weekend against Olivet Nazarene. The two rivals play doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday with action beginning each day at noon CT.
