Wildcats Completes Series Sweep Over Calumet

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Wildcat baseball team completed a three- game sweep of Calumet College Saturday. After winning 18-6 and 13-0 Friday, the Cats won 5-1 in the series finale. The game was called due to rain with Bethel batting in the fifth.

The Cats outhit the Crimson Wave 9-4.

Noah Foster had a two RBI single in the first. Bryan Catala drove in a run in the second. Juan Ramos had an RBI double in the second. Ramos drove in the final run of the game in the fourth.

Lucas Smith picked up the win. 

The Wildcats moved to 6-1 while Calumet dropped to 0-3 on the season.

The 6-1 start is the best start by a Wildcat team since 2013 when the Cats were 9-1 after their first ten games.

Bethel won thirteen of their first fourteen games in 2008. Bethel won 22 of their first 24 games in 2010.
