Bethel Mourns Loss of Beloved Friend and Bus Driver

MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The world lost a great man Tuesday. Heaven gained another angel.

Our hearts are sad, but we rejoice in the fact we knew Thomas Tansil.

We first met him as a high school basketball official and then knew him later as the best bus driver ever.

For years, he drove student-athletes and coaches for almost every college in the West Tennessee area. Many of those included trips Peggy and I were blessed to be a part of.

"Double T" aways had a cheerful smile and kind words for all.

He loved his family and loved those he served.

You always felt safe with him behind the wheel.

Our prayers for his lovely and wonderful family.

You will be missed by all our friend.
