My name is Ashley Simmons but my nickname is "Dirt".  I'm from Kevil, Kentucky.  My parents are Coy and Rhonda Simmons and I have an older brother named Mark.  I went to Heath High School where I played basketball and softball.  Some of my softball accomplishments are:  2004 2nd team All State Team - 2003 All District - 2004 All Region Team - 2005 All District Team - 2005 All Region Team.  I led the team in defense my senior year and was co-MVP.  I graduated with honors and was a member of "Who's Who" for two years.  I went to Shawnee Community College for 2 years on a softball scholarship.  As a freshman I led the team in batting average & RBI's.  I earned All Region 24 Team and 1st Team All Conference.  As a sophomore I led the team in RBI's and defense.  I was an academic All American for two years and graduated with honors with an Associate of Arts degree on May 2008.  I transferred to Bethel in hopes of earning my degreee in Accounting.  I owe all my success to my parents, because without them I wouldn't have made it this far.
