Hi ya'll, my name is Whitney Taylor and I'm from Stanton, Tennessee. I am the daughter of Tony and Barbara Taylor and also have an older brother named Tucker. I attended Brighton High School where I participated in basketball and softball. Some of my softball awards for the Brighton Lady Cardinals include: Best Defense Award 2003, Best Offense Award 2004, All District 2004 - All Conference 2004 - Best Defense Award 2005 - All District 2005 - All Conference 2005 - All Tournament 2005 - nominated for the Covington Leader Elite Athlete Award 2005 - participated in the Tennessee State Softball Tournament 2001 - 2005. I was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with honors in May of 2005. I attended Jackson State Community College where I played softball for 2 years. Some of my awards at JSCC include: All Academic Award 2005 -2006 - nominated for the Jackson-Madison County Sports Hall of Fame - Outstanding Athlete Award 2007 - All Tournament 2007 - West TN All Conference 2007. I graduated with my Associates of Science degree with honors in May of 2007. I transferred to Bethel College and plan to graduate with my Bachelors Degree in Child Development. Activities that I enjoy are hanging out with friends and family, playing sports, watching baseball (GO Braves !) and watching football (Go Steelers !).
