After several months of work and upgrades the Gaines Pool at Bethel College is set to open on Monday, June 9, 2008. The renovation was made possible by the generosity of the Gaines family. Facelifts and improvements include: a new ceiling, new walls, new decking, a new salt based filtration system and the pool itself has been completely re-plastered. 

The Gaines Pool is an indoor facility open to the public year round.

Beginning August 11, 2008 Pool hours are Monday-Friday 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 2:00pm - 6:00pm.  The cost is $3.00 per person/per day, seniors are $1.00 per day. Year long passes are available and are $90.00 for individuals and $175.00 for a family of four.

Summer hours of operation are Monday - Friday 12:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 2:00pm to 6:00pm. The cost is $3.00 per person/per day, seniors are $1.00 per day.
