MCKENZIE, Tenn. (October 8, 2008) - For the third fall in a row, the Bethel Wildcats will take part in the Nostalgia Man Classic at AutoZone Park, home of the Memphis Redbirds AAA affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, 2008.
 

On Saturday the ‘Cats will take on the Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen College (NCAA D-II) at 12:30pm. The weekend will wrap up at 12:00pm on Sunday against the Bucs of Christian Brothers University (NCAA D-II). Admission is $15.00 and is good for every game.

To coincide with Homecoming week, the baseball team will be hosting their annual Alumni game on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 1:00pm. Any and all alumni wishing to participate should call Head Coach Rusty Thompson at 731-352-4226 or Jennifer Bolin at 731-352-6428. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served after the game for all alumni and their family.

Then the Wildcats will begin their annual inter-squad best of five World Series with the date tentatively set for Monday, October 20, 2008.
